We just had to do it...drive out to the Superbowl..on Superbowl Sundaty just to get the pic.

Breakfast in bed (cheerios, milk and a banana) made by my two favorite munchkins...so thoughtful.
February 4 (Day 42)
Ok--so it is two pictures for February 4th....just because I love this note.
Griffin wrote me this note in bed and ran out to give it to me...that same night Phoenix sent me a text telling me what a super mommy I was...not sure if they picked up on my weariness of being home 5 days in a row snowed in with no outlet, or what..but it sure was appreciated.

Here are the girls still zonked out at 9 am the next morning. Day 4 of being snowed in.

Day 3 of being snowed in resulted in a sleepover with Phoenix's friend. Here they are snuggled up on the pull out couch in the living room watching movies.

Oh my..I am so behind in posting. So here is the start of a marathon posting session.
Day 2 of our first stretch of being
snowed in for 4 days, all four of us were home and a family game of monopoly ensued. Griffin is a shark..no need to go easy on him at all..like I did...and paid for it.

February 1 (day 39)
Was hard to pick just one...
So, my hubby asks me all the time why I insist on makign the bed every monrning. Well, this is one of the reasons why...
Yes, that is a spider I found in our bed when making it. It is now safely outside.
With our 1 inch sheet of ice in the road in front of the house the kids thought it would be fun to slide in it...that lasted all of 5 seconds, they have never experienced cold like this.
It is even cold inside, power/gas company has asked us to voluntarily conserve to avoid mandatory rolling
outages so we adjusted our heat down. Phoenix climbed into bed to keep warm and amused herself with her Nintendo DSI. We are all suffering from a mild case of cabin fever, and my office and school is closed again tomorrow.

I was home with Griffin, he is having a heck of a time with the cold weather and his breathing. While he napped, I scrapped in my craft closet...here is where I create
