So this is my best friend from Junior High School, Lori. She was the first friend I made when we moved to Orlando and we became inseparable. Our dad both retired in Orlando but moved to different parts of the county, we kept in touch until I left for college and we lost touch. I moved to Texas....and guess who lives 30 minutes away...Lori. I never would have guessed all those years ago that her and I would have ended up in Texas, at the same time. It has been like we were never apart. Gotta love old friends like that!
Griffin usually gets up before the rest of us on the weekends. Pugsly usually sleeps with Phoenix on her bed. But he gets up every morning when Griffin does and snuggle with him until the rest of us get up.
Ok, so you would think with being out of town I would have come up with something cool in the area I was traveling, which was Louisiana, but i found myself at the end of the day with no picture, so I snapped one of this little plastic hat on the desk of the hotel.
Chris organized the "baking cabinet" and gave me a tour of the new layout. He was pretty miffed at me because I would not take him seriously. Oh well.
Below are pictures from our short time at a park close by the house. It was really cold. Notice the duck is walking on the water (which was ice) not swimming in the water.
After over a month of not going grocery shopping and eating what we had to try and save money, we finally went and did a major shopping trip. The best part, this is $369.00 worth of groceries and we paid $239.00. I love using coupons on top of sales.
One of my Fridays off. Chris and I took advantage of the time alone and went out to eat, I was snapping pictures and he decided to be silly...and I captured it.
Admittedly, I actually decided to be a proper SEC fan and route for the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship game. That status update really elicited a lot of comments from friends. It will probably be the only time you hear me cheer for another team besides Florida.
Phoenix is doing her own Project 365 this year and posting to the Club Scrap P365 forum, a few are going on her blog as well. This picture is Phoenix posting to the Club Scrap forum. She obsesses at least an hour over what to say. She had done a great job keeping up so far.
The first thing I saw when I walked in from work this afternoon...Chris Vacuuming the Christmas Tree Needles. He took down the tree while I was at work.
January 1, Sugar Bowl Game, Gators-Cincinnatti. We went to a friends house, an old High School/Junior High Friend (Megan Chen) of Shona's (had not seen each other since 1988). Gators won of course. The picture is of the team holding up the game Trophy.
